The Story We Leave™ Teen Legacy Facilitator Program gives high school students the opportunity to learn valuable life skills while helping preserve the memories and life stories of parents, grandparents, veterans, neighbors, and other community members.
This is more than volunteering—it's an opportunity to create a lasting legacy while building skills that will benefit students for years to come.

What Students Do
As a Teen Legacy Facilitator, students are trained to guide someone through The Story We Leave™ Legacy Journal. They help encourage meaningful conversations, organize memories, and support participants as they record the stories of their lives.
No counseling or therapy is involved. The facilitator's role is simply to listen, encourage, and help preserve memories.
Who Can Participate?
Students ages 15+ with a desire to serve others and preserve family and community history.
Parent or guardian permission is required for participants under 18.
Certificate of Completion
Students who complete the training will receive a Teen Legacy Facilitator™ Certificate of Completion.
Additional documentation of volunteer hours can be provided when applicable.
